At Heart & Grace Co., our work is rooted in one simple belief:
Support begins in relationship.
When people experience change—whether expected or unexpected—they often need more than advice.
They need space.
They need to be heard.
They need someone who can stay with them in the moment.
And they need support to discover their own choices, values, and what matters most.
Heart & Grace Co. exists to help create that kind of support—through mentoring, coaching, and relationship-centred learning experiences grounded in presence, reflection, and real conversation.
Across communities, many people are navigating life transitions—and the relationships within them—without consistent, meaningful support.
Some struggle visibly.
Others fall into what is often described as the “missing middle”—individuals who may not require formal intervention, but still experience
disconnection
uncertainty
hesitation in relationships
or a lack of confidence in how to move forward
At the same time, educators, mentors, and community members are increasingly being asked to support emotional and relational complexity—often without a shared language or practical tools.
There is a growing need for
relational awareness
everyday mentoring skills
and coaching-based approaches that support reflection, clarity, and meaningful forward movement
Heart & Grace Co. focuses not only on providing support—but on developing people who can support others.
Our work brings together mentoring, coaching, and relational learning to help individuals and communities navigate change with greater steadiness, awareness, and self-agency.
This includes both direct learning experiences and training for mentors, facilitators, and future coaches.
Note that Steele Academy is the educational arm of Heart & Grace Co.

RAYS™ is a relational approach that focuses on how people show up with one another—especially in moments that matter.
It was developed in response to a growing need:
Many young people—and the adults who support them—are navigating increasing social and emotional complexity, often without a shared way of understanding what is happening or how to respond.
Some students struggle visibly.
Others experience disconnection or uncertainty without drawing formal attention.
RAYS focuses on the moments that already exist:
Rather than introducing a program to follow, it offers a way of noticing and responding.
At its core is a simple idea:
Mentoring is not just a role—it is a life skill.
RAYS supports individuals in developing
We are currently developing RAYS as a scalable relational practice for schools, community groups, and mentorship initiatives.
